Four people get killed due to plane crash in London

(MENAFN) A tragic plane crash at London Southend Airport on Sunday claimed the lives of four individuals, according to reports.

The aircraft involved was identified as flight SUZ1, operated by the Dutch aviation company Zeusch Aviation, which confirmed the incident. Witnesses described the crash resulting in a massive “fireball.”

The small 12-meter (39-foot) aircraft had traveled from Greece to Croatia earlier that day before heading to Southend. It was scheduled to return to Lelystad Airport in the Netherlands later that evening.

Due to what was described as a “serious incident,” Southend Airport has announced that it will remain closed until further notice.
